Welcome, I’m Anna Sowden

Counsellor

I am a registered counsellor (ACA) with a psychology degree. I qualified six years ago after jumping ship from a long corporate career as a lawyer. I also have my own mental health history and have peer training.

I love to support women who may be searching for meaning or greater peace in their lives.

The great insight I have gained from my personal journey distinguishes me from other counsellors.

My favoured style of therapy is compassionate, solutions-focussed and future oriented. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness. I aim to support long-term change and achieving significant life goals.
